Kansas City, MO – On October 13, 2024, Prosperity Planning proudly participated in the Bill Cross 5K, an event benefitting Feed Northland Kids. This annual event, organized in partnership with the family of Bill Cross, aims to address the critical issue of food insecurity affecting children in the Northland.
With over 11,000 children in Clay and Platte Counties lacking consistent access to nutritious and affordable food, the 5K brings much-needed attention and support to these communities. Feed Northland Kids is dedicated to ensuring no child goes hungry, and through events like the Bill Cross 5K, they continue to raise vital funds to expand their reach.
Team members from Prosperity Planning, alongside other participants, gathered at the event to walk, run, and raise awareness. By participating, and inviting friends and family to join, they helped contribute to the ongoing efforts to fight hunger in the Northland.
